Principal's Message
Welcome to Lucy Baker Alternate School
We are a Middle Years school with students ranging in age from 13 to 16 years of age. Our mission is to provide a safe, positive environment in which to promote personal, academic and social growth and regular attendance among students who have difficulty in other schools. Our school offers a friendly home-like atmosphere, low pupil/teacher ratios, counseling, and individualized programming. Students are usually referred to the school by one of the Prince Albert area school systems, by other agencies in the city or by self-referrals.
The goal of our school is to reintegrate students back into the regular school system, into other alternate programs, or in some instances, into the work world.
